Well, there has been a major change of plans! I just could not get the desired theme to work. So I decided to go with the theme I have used for Bette’s Musings. I knew that one would work, and I knew I could customise it more easily than the one I was trying to install. I just love Angie Makes! The how to videos are AMAZINGLY simple to follow! So now to continue with the website…
things don’t work out as planned! The new shop was supposed to up by the start of March. I have spent the last 2 days struggling with the backend, and still hope to have it up by the end of Easter. In the meantime, I will be displaying photos of charts we currently have in stock on the blog.
(pictured is the Easter Sewing Roll by The Needle’s Content – we currently have 2 charts in stock, at $5.29 each. If you are interested in purchasing a chart, email info @ needlework boutique . com, leaving out the spaces)
I am still working on customising the site. It is a real headache trying to work out how to set it up to suit what I want! My day job is that of secondary teacher, and at the moment, I am stealing an hour here and an hour there. Next week I will have more time – and hopefully more patience! Please bear with me while I sort this out!
Ok. So almost! The new site has been installed, now I just need to populate it! Before I can do that, I need to do some major tweaking to the look. It is not quite what I have in mind – yet! I hope to have that done by Monday night.
Thank you for your patience during the transition from the old, dated, site to this new (hopefully) improved site.
