    Q: Layby
    Can I purchase on Layby/Layaway?

    A: You most definitely can. How our Layby works is that you are required to pay 25% at checkout. We will then remove the products that you have purchased from our shelves, and prepare them ready for delivery. They will then be placed in a special Layby bin, waiting for you to complete the payment.

    We offer very generous terms with our layby, giving you up to 2 months to pay off your purchase. Each fortnight, you will receive a reminder that you need to make another payment. Once you have paid for your purchase in full, the products will be delivered to the Post Office.

    To access the Layby, just enter the Coupon voucher LAYBY into the appropriate field on checkout. Minimum Order - $80.

    Q: How much will I be paying for shipping?
    How much will I be paying for shipping?

    A: Within Australia, we charge a flat rate of AUD2.50 for all orders under AUD30. for International Orders shipping is calculated according to the actual costs, including shipping materials. It is recommended that parcels traveling overseas be insured. This will also be charged to the customer. We have provided a guideline in our shipping prices, which will be accurately calculated when we process the order. This guideline is for unregistered and uninsured envelopes.

    Q: Express Post
    I need my order tomorrow. Can I get it by then?

    A: In order to be sure of a rapid delivery of an order, we have set up an Express Post option. This is only available to Australian residents. If you read the Australia Post website carefully, you will see that it is guaranteed that there is next day delivery for capital cities and some of the other cities in each state. Others, the guarantee is for 2 days. By requesting Express Post, I will have the Express Post envelope to the post office as soon as I can once your payment has cleared.

    I am still learning this program. Therefore, the express post option is a little more complicated than I would wish. Essentially, if you are buying threads only, then the cost of postage is AUD4.30. For charts, the express post is AUD11.90. There is no free postage available with this option.

    A: We ship to all destinations within Australia.

    The Needlework Boutique ships to destinations with a reliable postal service. We retain the right to refuse an order on the grounds that we have concerns about the probability of the intended recipient receiving their order. We will not send orders to places currently experiencing domestic turbulence, such as those places that are currently afflicted by war or natural disaster.

    Q: Payment Options
    How do I pay for my order?

    A: We currently offer 3 alternatives for payment -

    - Paypal - a secure method of paying by credit card. Paying by credit card means immediate clearance of your payment and we can have the order in the mail within 24 - 48 hours.

    - Cheque - made payable to The Needlework Boutique. On receipt of your order, we will remove the products from the shelf ready to be sent when the cheque clears. Please allow for an extra 7 working days for the cheque to clear.

    - Direct Debit - At checkout, select the cheque or money order payment option and request direct debit in the comments box. Our bank information will be sent to you by email. Your parcel then will be in the post within 24 - 48 hours on receipt of payment.

    Q: Returns
    What is your returns policy?

    A: All products sold through this site comes with a 90 day money back guarantee, conditional on:

    1. The seller must be notified of the intention that the goods are to be returned.
    2. Goods returned must be in the original, saleable condition and seals must not be broken or tampered with.
    3. A copy of the invoice must be included with the item.

    Once the returned item has been received and processed, the buyer shall be notified by email. The buyer can expect a refund or replacement item within 7 - 14 business days.

    Items lost or damaged during transport will be replaced or refunded only when the item has been sent by Registered Mail or is Insured.

    Q: Special Orders
    I am interested in an embroidery product you don't have. Can I still order it from you?

    A: There are so many embroidery products available, that you would need a warehouse to carry them all. Therefore we invite people to let us know of particular products that they are interested in. Items from Hoffmans, Norden Crafts and Australian Distributors are always available.

    Occassionally we will refuse to do a special order (eg. when we are required to place an AUD500 retail order with a manufacturer for a range we do not regularly carry). Other items may require some research, but we will do our best.

    Special orders are accepted with a prepayment of AUD5.00
